Explanation of the Book of Friday and the Two Festivals-02b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Maqdami narrated to us, Harimi ibn 'Ammar narrated to us, Abu Khaladah, who is Khalid ibn Dinar, narrated to us, saying: I heard Anas ibn Malik say:
when it was very cold the Prophet observed the prayer early, and when it was very hot he delayed the prayer till it was cooler. The reference is to the Friday prayer. كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا اشتد البرد بكر بالصلاة، وإذا اشتد الحر أبرد بالصلاة يعني الجمعة
Mishkat al-Masabih 1403
Yunus ibn Bakir said: Abu Khaladah narrated to us, and he said "the prayer" and did not mention Friday. And Bashir ibn Thabit said: Abu Khaladah narrated to us, saying: The Friday imam prayed with us, then he said to Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pray the midday prayer?

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
When he mentioned the time of Friday prayer, which is when the sun has passed its zenith in the previous chapter, he mentioned whether the Friday prayer is delayed or not? Then he cited the hadith, and mentioned the first wording:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer the prayer earlier if it was very cold; and if it was very hot he used to delay the prayer, i.e. the Jumua prayer. إذا اشتد البرد بكر بالصلاة، وإذا اشتد الحر أبرد بالصلاة يعني الجمعة
Sahih al-Bukhari 906
, then he cited the statement of Yunus, saying: "the prayer" and did not mention Friday.
Then he cited the reason: The Friday imam prayed with us, then he said to Anas: How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pray the midday prayer?
It seems that al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) is indicating that the wording "Friday" is not preserved. Based on this, the early performance in cold weather and the delay in hot weather is only for the midday prayer. As for Friday, there is no delay, because delaying the Friday prayer is difficult for the people who came early, and in Friday prayer it is recommended for people to come from the beginning of the day, so delaying it for them would be a hardship, not an ease.
Furthermore, Friday is not like the midday prayer. The midday prayer cannot be established except after the sun has passed its zenith, whereas it has been established that Friday prayer may be established before the sun passes its zenith. The intense heat in summer occurs only after the sun has passed its zenith. For this reason, we say: There is no delay in Friday prayer.
Then, the prescribed delay is not to be thirty minutes later than the custom, but to delay until the shadows become distinct, meaning when the afternoon prayer is approaching, for example, meaning that if there is half an hour left until the afternoon prayer or something like that, pray the midday prayer.
As for the delay that people used to do previously, it is in reality nothing but delaying the prayer from the beginning of its time, and there is no delay in it, because they do it in the intense heat. Yes.
