The Shaykh : Fourth: Does one exert oneself in Laylat al-Qadr in anything other than standing in night prayer? We know of nothing other than standing in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward من قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا

Accordingly, charity in it is like charity in other times, and 'Umrah in it is like 'Umrah in other times. All acts of worship other than standing in prayer on Laylat al-Qadr have no special merit. From this, we know that some of our Muslim brothers who are eager to perform 'Umrah on the twenty-seventh night have no share in the evidence, meaning the proof. They have no proof that one performs 'Umrah on the twenty-seventh night, or the twentieth night, or the fifteenth night, or the seventeenth night. They are all the same.
