Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Blessed is He who placed in the sky constellations and made therein a lamp and a luminous moon”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We listened to our imam’s recitation in the Maghrib prayer, specifically in the Maghrib prayer, which was the saying of Allah the Exalted:
(61) Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. (62) And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. تبارك الذي جعل في السماء بروجا وجعل فيها سراجا وقمرا منيرا وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار خلفة لمن أراد أن يذكر أو أراد شكورا
[Al-Furqan 25:61-62]
. So His saying, Mighty and Majestic:
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars تبارك الذي جعل في السماء بروجا
[Al-Furqan 25:61]
means, Blessed and Exalted is He, the constellations of the sky, and they are twelve constellations. In these constellations are the great signs of Allah that are known by those who reflect upon them, and they are great signs that appear, but due to the fact that people are heedless of this, no one knows what great signs are contained within them.
