Does the prayer of one who says, "We seek help from Allah," become invalid?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Does the prayer become invalid for one who says, "We seek help from Allah"?

The Shaykh : His prayer does not become invalid, because "We seek help from Allah" is a supplication, and prayer is never invalidated by supplication. Even if a person supplicates for something from the matters of this world, there is no harm. If a student says, "O Allah, make me succeed in this term," while he is praying, is that permissible? Is it permissible? The student says, during the time of the exam, "O Allah, make me succeed in this term," is that permissible? He said that while he was in prostration, or he said that after the tashahhud before the taslim, is that permissible?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : The evidence is the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
Then let him choose whatever he wishes from supplication. ثم ليتخير من الدعاء ما شاء
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:238
And the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
And as for prostration, increase in it the supplication. وأما السجود فأكثروا فيه من الدعاء
Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2:274
And he did not restrict it. Therefore, we say that some of the scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) who said that one should not supplicate in prayer with what pertains to the matters of this world—we say that this opinion is weak, and that a person has the right to supplicate with whatever he wishes, because supplication is an act of worship. Yes.
