Discussion of the closing salam and the meaning of the prayer of the one who prays: "Complete me and provide for me"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he says the salam to his right: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah," and to his left: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah."
This is the description of the prayer, which I have mentioned according to what has become clear to me from the Sunnah.
Now let us return to explaining some of the words.
As for al-Fatihah, we have already discussed some of it. Likewise, the glorification (tasbih) has been discussed previously. And likewise, the saying:
My Lord, forgive me رب اغفر لي
has been discussed previously. Is that not so?
And have mercy on me وارحمني
has been discussed previously. "Heal me" has been discussed previously.
Complete me اجبرني
means: Complete my deficiency, because a person is always in a state of deficiency, either by being negligent about an obligatory duty or by committing a forbidden act, so you ask Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, to complete you. Also, a person is deficient in his knowledge and deficient in his retention; he always knows something and then forgets it, so you ask Allah to complete you in every deficiency that befalls you.
Provide for me ارزقني
Material or spiritual provision? Both. Material provision is what nourishes the body. Spiritual provision is what nourishes the heart. The material provision that nourishes the body is, for example... The brother, please speak.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Stop, stop. The bodily provision is, for example...
The student: Strength and bodily nourishment.

The Shaykh : For example, for example, what?
The student: Food, eating, and drinking.

The Shaykh : Food, drink, clothing, and shelter. That is complete. Rest now. Yes. The spiritual is like faith, knowledge, righteous deeds, and other things that benefit a person in the Hereafter. Do you keep this meaning in mind when you say "provide for me" between the two prostrations? What do you keep in mind? Or do you say this word without knowing its meaning? Yes, the majority of people, and I am among them, say this word without realizing when they say it that they are asking Allah for both types of provision: material bodily provision and spiritual heart provision. What we should do is keep these meanings in mind so that we may gain reward and favor.
