Is it permissible to study in universities that focus on non-Islamic sciences out of necessity, and what is the criterion for necessity?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says:The questioner : Is it permissible for a student to study in universities that focus on non-Islamic sciences out of necessity? And what is the criterion for this necessity?

The Shaykh : I see that a person who has universities in his country that he can benefit from, and whose country is Islamic, should not travel to other countries, because the lands of disbelief are dangerous; they corrupt belief, they corrupt morals, and they corrupt religions. And I see that it is not permissible for a person to travel to the lands of disbelief except with three conditions; pay attention to them.
The first condition: that he has knowledge with which he can refute doubts.
And that he has religion that protects him from desires, and that he is in need of the travel.
And you know that the enemies of the Muslims want to misguide the Muslims. They may not be able to make them enter their religion, but it matters to them to make them doubt their religion and to take them out of Islam. So I see that it is not permissible for a person to travel to the lands of disbelief unless these conditions are met. Yes.
