Is it permissible to give a sermon during the tarawih prayer, specifically after every four rak'ahs?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : First: We have a question here in Kuwait regarding a sermon after four rak'ahs of the night prayer. Is this permissible? And if it is permissible, how should it be conducted? I mean, what should this sermon be like?

The Shaykh : Yes, what I see is that it should not be done. First, it is not from the guidance of the Salaf.
Second: Some people may wish to perform the tahajjud prayer and then return to their homes. This would hinder them, bore them, and force them to listen to this sermon. If the sermon is not well-received, its harm is greater than its benefit. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would vary his sermons to his Companions and not burden them, repeating them as needed. I see that leaving it out is preferable. If the imam wishes to preach to the people, let him do so at the very end, once the prayer has finally concluded, so that the people are acting of their own choice: if they wish, they stay, and if they wish, they leave.
