What is the ruling on a woman plucking her eyebrows if they are excessive?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on a woman cutting or plucking the excess hair on her eyebrows, and is this included in the prohibition against imitating nuns?

The questioner : Yes, plucking, for example, or shaving, for example?

The Shaykh : Yes, yes.

The questioner : Does this fall under the prohibition regarding excess hair?
A second question, O Shaykh!

The Shaykh : No, absolutely not.
In any case, the important point is that it is not permissible to pluck the eyebrows unless they are disfiguring, because we have three cases:
Either they are beautiful due to their fineness and the fact that they do not connect to each other; this is what someone is asking about.
Or they are disfiguring and excessive, meaning they take up space on the forehead, such that everyone who sees them is disgusted by them. In this case, there is nothing wrong with removing what causes the disfigurement, but not by plucking; rather, by using removers or by cutting. This is permissible, and the first method (plucking) is not used.
Or they are not disfiguring, but they do not reach the level of beauty. In this case, it is not permissible to alter them.

The questioner : Some of them are not visible unless one gets close to them?

The Shaykh : As long as there is no disfigurement, do not do it.

The questioner : The issue hinges on disfigurement. If there is no disfigurement, they remain as they are?

The Shaykh : Yes

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : Yasar.
