The Ruling on Plucking Hair from a Woman’s Face

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner, Umm 'Asem, says in her question: “O His Eminence the Shaykh: ‘The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the women who pluck their eyebrows and those who have it done.’ Is plucking the eyebrows only from the eyebrows? Or is it from the rest of the face?”

Answer:
Plucking is from the eyebrows, and likewise from the face according to some scholars if there is something there that she plucks; this is part of plucking. However, if it is something that causes mutilation and disfigurement, such as a mustache or a beard, there is no harm in removing it, because it disfigures her and harms her. As for removing the eyebrows, or ordinary hair that does not cause harm, she should not remove anything. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
