Is it permissible for a bedridden woman to combine prayers if she goes out to the countryside or for a visit, given that performing wudu' is difficult for her?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible for a bedridden woman to combine prayers when going for a visit or to the countryside, since repeating wudu' is burdensome for her, and she is unable to remain in a single state of wudu'?

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you. It is permissible for a woman, or anyone other than a woman, if it is difficult for her to pray each prayer in its own time, to combine Dhuhr and Asr, or Maghrib and Isha'. It is also permissible to delay Dhuhr until Asr and perform wudu' for both. Then, when the sun sets, she brings Isha' forward to Maghrib using the first wudu', so that this one wudu' suffices her for four prayers. Did you understand?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Good, praise be to Allah.
