What is the ruling on the phrase (O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad) when one forgets something from the chapter of dhikr?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The honorable Shaykh, it happens among many people that when one of them forgets, he says: O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, knowing that he intends by it dhikr, the remembrance of Allah. If you were to tell him, he would say to you: This is dhikr, meaning that when he forgets, he says: O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad. Is this permissible?

The Shaykh : Any well-known phrase, their saying: O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad. As for the first, I do not know a basis for it, and there is no connection between sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and remembering it, except if he says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) mentioned that whoever makes all his prayers for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his worries will be relieved. But taking it from this hadith is far-fetched. The better course, when one forgets something, is to remember Allah.
