Among the benefits of the verse that follows,
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.مالك يوم الدين
[Al-Fatihah 1:4]
or “King,” is the affirmation of the ownership and dominion of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) over the Day of Judgment. This is specifically mentioned because, as we stated in the exegesis, on that day all forms of ownership and all kings will vanish.
Among its benefits is the affirmation of the Resurrection, based on His saying:
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.مالك يوم الدين
[Al-Fatihah 1:4]
