What is the ruling on women wearing a ring on the middle finger?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Noble Shaykh, what is the ruling on women wearing a ring on the middle finger?

The Shaykh : It appears to me that women may wear rings on all their fingers, and there is nothing wrong with it, because the intention is to adorn oneself. If it is their custom to adorn themselves by wearing rings on all their fingers, then there is nothing wrong with it, unless that leads to boasting, showing off, or extravagance, in which case it is prohibited for this reason. As for the man, the ring is worn on the ring finger or the index finger, either on the right hand or the left hand, whichever comes after.
