On which finger of the hand should a woman wear a ring, and on which finger should a man wear a silver ring?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 8337 )
Q3: On which finger should a woman wear a ring, the middle finger or the one next to it? Is the hadith for men or for women?
A3: First: It is permissible for a woman to wear jewelry made of gold and silver, whether as a ring or otherwise, of whatever kind women are accustomed to wearing. There is no specification of which finger it must be worn on; rather, the matter is broad. Second: It is permissible for a man to wear a ring made of silver, as there is evidence for this. It is forbidden for him to wear a ring made of gold.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
