What is the ruling on a woman traveling abroad without need, just for a walk with a mahram?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace.

The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : What is the ruling on a woman traveling abroad without an excuse, meaning without need, for the purpose of a walk with a mahram?

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you. A woman traveling abroad with her husband is better for her and for him than staying in her country, so I see no obstacle. However, as I said, the original travel of the husband for the sake of a walk, I do not see it as permissible, because it has dangers: The first danger is that a person goes to a disbeliever's land and may be affected in his religion, morals, or customs.
Second: He spends a lot of money traveling to those lands.
Third: He enriches the wealth of those people and brings them many profits.
Fourth: People may imitate him, and the people will rush into this matter.
Fifth: We have been informed of people who were upright, but they went on a summer vacation to the land of disbelief and then returned deviant, may Allah protect us from that. And this is not far-fetched. Therefore, we see that it is not permissible to travel to the land of disbelief except for a religious or worldly benefit, on the condition that the person has knowledge with which he can repel doubts, because they will present to him things there that make him doubt his religion. And he must have a religion that prevents him from desires, because there are intoxicants, prostitution, and whatever evil you want, may Allah protect us from that, or whatever evil you imagine, you will find it there. The third condition is the benefit or need. If these three conditions are met, there is no harm. But if one of these conditions is lacking, we do not see it as permissible to travel to those lands.
