Traveling with the Intention of a Walk and 'Umrah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A young man got married and decided in his intention to travel to the Hijaz. He flew to Jeddah, stayed there for two days, rented a car, and went to Ta'if, where he stayed for several days. Then he went out to al-Sayl al-Kabir and entered the state of ihram. He intended to perform 'Umrah, but only after he had taken a walk. What is the ruling?

To be considered: Is his going there for 'Umrah or for a walk? If it is the former, he must enter ihram from the miqat and not pass it. As you know, if you travel by plane from al-Qasim, the miqat is the miqat of the people of Madinah, which is Dhul-Hulayfah.

And as for if his intention is that he will take a walk and say: If it is feasible for me, I will perform 'Umrah. In this case, there is nothing wrong with him passing the miqat and going to Ta'if or to the south, and then returning to enter ihram.
In any case, if he exercises caution and slaughters a fidyah in Makkah—one for his wife and one for himself—to be distributed among the poor, that is good! It clears his conscience. If he does not do so, or if he is unable to, there is no blame on him.
