What is the validity of the claim that 'Ali did not pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) until six months had passed of his caliphate and after the death of Fatimah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Your Eminence, some historians have mentioned that 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) did not pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr for the caliphate until six months had passed of his caliphate and after the death of Fatimah bint Muhammad (may Allah be pleased with her). To what extent is this statement correct, or does it have an explanation?

The Shaykh : Yes, first: this statement is not correct. It has been said that 'Ali ibn Abi Talib pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr on that very day, but he kept it secret from Fatimah, because Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) had something in her heart against Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) when he prevented her from inheriting from her father (peace and blessings be upon him).
And his statement is the truth, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
We, the prophets, do not leave an inheritance. إنّا معاشر الأنبياء لا نورث
, but you know women, and perhaps there was someone among the enemies who filled her heart with anger against Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). I do not know if you have forgotten that she (may Allah be pleased with her) pledged allegiance in the end, but 'Ali pledged allegiance without a doubt along with the people. The most that can be said is that he kept it secret from Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). Yes.
