If the one praying forgets and sits for the first tashahhud and his sitting is prolonged, then he is reminded, does he prostrate before or after the taslim?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : And this says: If the one praying forgets and sits for the first tashahhud and his sitting is prolonged, then he is reminded, does he prostrate before or after the taslim?

The Shaykh : The prostration here is not obligatory. That is, if he errs in the first tashahhud and completes it thinking that this is the final tashahhud, then here we ask: Is the addition here verbal or physical?
The student: Verbal.

The Shaykh : The addition is verbal because this sitting is a place of sitting, so the addition is verbal, and a verbal addition does not necessitate the prostration for forgetfulness. However, if he prostrates, that is better, and if he does not prostrate, there is no blame on him. And if he wants to prostrate, let him prostrate after the taslim, because he added, and every prostration for forgetfulness due to an addition is after the taslim.
