If a woman owes zakah on her jewelry and has no money, is it permissible for her husband to pay the zakah on her behalf?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah forgive you, O honorable Shaykh: If a woman has jewelry on which zakah is due, but she has no money, is it permissible for her husband to pay the zakah on behalf of his wife?

The Shaykh : Yes, there is nothing wrong with it. That is, if a woman has jewelry but no money from which to pay the zakah, and her husband, father, brother, or son pays it on her behalf, there is nothing wrong with it, provided she gives her permission. Even if she has money, if the husband says, "I want to pay the zakah on your jewelry," there is nothing wrong with it after she gives her permission.
Now, if she has no money, and the husband is not in a position to pay her zakah, and no one else is willing to pay it on her behalf, then she should sell an amount of the jewelry equal to the zakah due and pay the zakah.
