What is the ruling on dragging one's garment out of arrogance, and likewise the trousers and the cloak, or is it specific to the izar?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
May Allah reward you, O Shaykh: Some scholars mentioned an explanation of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
The lower wrap of the believer should come to mid-calf إزرة المؤمن إلى أنصاف ساقيه
Sunan Ibn Majah 3573Sahih (Darussalam)
And he said: that the thawb and the cloak are not included in this hadith, and that the intended meaning is the azrah or the izar, which is what resembles the clothing of the people of Yemen. Does this mean that the thawb, the cloak, and the trousers do not have the ruling of the izar regarding shortening?

The Shaykh : What we see—may Allah reward you—is that there is no difference.

The questioner : No difference?

The Shaykh : There is no difference between the izar, the shirt, the trousers, and the cloak. However, we do not see that if it is lowered below the middle of the shin, the person is contradicting the Sunnah. All of it is Sunnah from the middle of the shin to the ankle. Yes, all of it is Sunnah. And this is what is established from the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). When the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said Allah will not look, on the Day of Resurrection at the person who drags his garment (behind him) out of conceit. On that Abu Bakr said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! One side of my Izar hangs low if I do not take care of it." من جر ثوبه خيلاء لم ينظر الله إليه ، قال: يا رسول الله إن أحد شق إزاري يسترخي عليّ إلا أن أتعاهده
Sahih al-Bukhari 5784
This indicates that his izar was near the ankle, because if it were not so, if it were lowered, his awrah would be exposed from above.
In any case, being strict in this matter is not appropriate. It is said to the person: You are on good and on the Sunnah from the middle to the ankle, but do not lower it below the ankle.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh: A person built a mosque on land he owned, so he began to pray in it.

The Shaykh : No, no, the first row, then the first row, my brother, the first row, then the first row.
