What is the ruling on using the skin of a wolf's forehead to extract a jinn and taking it as a protective amulet?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh. Some people cut the skin from a wolf's forehead and bring it to the one afflicted with possession, and then they claim to extract this jinn. Some people also place this skin in the house as a protective amulet against jinn so that they do not enter his house. What is the ruling on these two matters?

The Shaykh : The ruling on both matters is that this has no basis and no validity. If this were true, wolves would be worth the highest prices. This has no validity.

The questioner : Would this be considered shirk (associating partners with Allah)?

The Shaykh : Yes, indeed. This is of the same kind as wearing a ring or the like to ward off or remove calamity. These are illusions with no validity.

The questioner : And if it is established, meaning through experience?

The Shaykh : It is never established. These are illusions. You take a wolf, if Allah wills, and put it near the jinn.

The questioner : We have one in Hail; he has a wolf.

The Shaykh : Never. I know a man who used to recite over those afflicted with possession. He took a wolf cub and the wolf caused him trouble. This wolf would eat nothing but the best meat, and he kept buying meat for it, but it was of no use. The jinn would dance when it saw the wolf. Yes.
