The impermissibility of hanging a wolf's eye to ward off jinn

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What is the ruling on hanging a wolf's eye in the form of an amulet out of fear of the jinn, and they say: that it drives away the jinn, and is one excused by ignorance?
This is not permissible; because this is neither a religious nor a natural cause, so it is one of the amulets that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described as shirk (associating partners with Allah),Then who said: Do the jinn run away from the wolf?! We hear this often, but we do not know if this is true or not. For this reason, some people keep a piece of wolf skin with them and hang it in their house, claiming that the jinn will not enter the house if that is there. But this is a mistake. What truly protects you from the jinn is reciting Ayat al-Kursi. (Whoever recites it in the night, a guardian from Allah will not cease to be over him, and no Shaytan will approach him until he becomes morning) .

The questioner: The same question, O Shaykh! Who said: that it is kufr (disbelief) that expels one from the religion and one is not excused by ignorance? The Shaykh: No.
This is incorrect, it does not expel one from the religion,Based on what has become popular, assuming that this is a cause, it is said: This is not a religious cause, and hanging it is shirk (associating partners with Allah); but it is minor shirk.

The questioner: Is one excused by ignorance, O Shaykh? The Shaykh: Yes, there is no doubt that one is excused by ignorance. Every person is excused by ignorance
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.رَبَّنَا لا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
[al-Baqarah: 286] So Allah said: I have done so.
