The first question of Fatwa No. ( 19046 )
Q 1: Some people among us, when they find a dead wolf, cut off the skin of its face and its ears, and place them as amulets in their houses, believing that they drive away the jinn. What is the ruling on this action?
A 1 : Placing these parts of the wolf’s organs and its skin in houses and on doors as amulets, and believing that they drive away the jinn and prevent the entry of the jinn — all of this is an invalid, innovated action with no basis in the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). And believing in this undermines the tawhid (the oneness of Allah) of the servant; because in that there is attachment to other than Allah, and seeking refuge and taking hold of other than Allah. And placing these things in houses and hanging them on doors contains a type of hanging amulets, and hanging amulets is shirk (associating partners with Allah); for what was narrated by 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: It was narrated by Imam Ahmad in (Al-Musnad, Vol. 4, p. 154), and in a narration from him: And for what was narrated by 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Sunan Abi Dawud 3883Sahih (Al-Albani) It was narrated by Imam Ahmad in (Al-Musnad, Vol. 1, p. 381) and it was narrated by Abu
Dawud and Ibn Majah in (their Sunans). So the Muslim should stay away from these things, and should attach himself to Allah alone, and seek refuge in Him, and rely upon Him, and take hold of Allah alone, for He is the One who benefits and harms alone, and whoever relies upon Allah, He will suffice him. And it is prescribed for the Muslim to seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created; for the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih Muslim 2708a It was narrated by Muslim . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

من تعلق تميمة فلا أتم الله له، ومن تعلق ودعة فلا ودع الله لهWhoever hangs up an amulet has committed shirk.
من تعلق تميمة فقد أشركspells, charms and love-potions are polytheism

When anyone lands at a place, and then says:" I seek refuge in the Perfect Word of Allah from the evil of what He has created," nothing would harm him until he marches from that stopping place.
