What is your advice for one who wishes to seek knowledge with you at the Grand Mosque, having memorized the Book of Allah and some of the texts?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. A young man wishes to seek knowledge, having memorized the Book of Allah or some of the texts. He seeks your advice regarding the methodology of seeking knowledge, along with his desire to attend your lessons, especially during the summer vacation.

The Shaykh : By Allah, we welcome every person. We welcome anyone who comes seeking knowledge; we do not prevent anyone. However, the most important thing for me is that if he is not a Saudi, he must bring proof of his residence and that it is on an official basis. This is because some people have no residence permit, which caused a problem and a lot of back-and-forth with the authorities. The second thing is that there should be a recommendation from some people known to us, so that the person feels more at ease.

The questioner : I mean the methodology, the methodology you advise, and the lessons, the lessons...

The Shaykh : As for us, may Allah bless you, our lessons are fixed. We do not change them for the attendance of new people, because if we kept changing them every time new people attended, it would mean we had not progressed. Among the students are people who have advanced and, for example, have grasped a large portion of the knowledge, so they do not like to go back. However, among our senior students, there are those who sit with the beginner students and teach them what is suitable for them. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
