Is it true that a person is called by his mother's name on the Day of Resurrection?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. It has become well-known among many people that on the Day of Resurrection, people are called by their mothers' names. Is this correct?

The Shaykh : He says: It has become well-known among some people that a person is called by his mother's name on the Day of Resurrection. Is this correct? The answer is: No, it is not correct. It is established in al-Bukhari and others:
That for every treacherous person there will be a banner on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be proclaimed: "This is the treachery of so-and-so, son of so-and-so." أن لكل غادر لواء يوم القيامة ينادى هذه غدرة فلان بن فلان
And by this, we know the weakness of the hadith of Abu Umamah regarding instructing the deceased after his burial. That is, when the deceased is buried, one stands over him and says: "O so-and-so, son of so-and-so, remember what you left the world with: the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," followed by the rest of the instructions. This is not a correct hadith; the hadith is not correct. Consequently, this practice of instructing the deceased is a religious innovation (bid'ah). The correct practice is that when the deceased is buried, a person stands over his grave and seeks forgiveness for him, saying: "O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, make him firm, O Allah, make him firm, O Allah, make him firm." This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he finished burying the deceased, would stand over him and say:
Seek forgiveness for your brother, and beg steadfastness for him, for he will be questioned now.استغفروا لأخيكم واسألوا له التثبيت فإنه الآن يسأل
Sunan Abi Dawud 3221Sahih (Al-Albani)
and one more.
