What is the ruling on performing the washing of the face before the rinsing of the mouth and the sniffing of water?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We mentioned in yesterday's lesson that if a person performs the rinsing of the mouth before the washing of the face, it is permissible, but the best is to observe the order. If a person performs the rinsing of the mouth before the washing of the face, that is the best, O Abdullah.

The questioner : ... performing the washing of the face before the rinsing of the mouth is what I intended.

The Shaykh : That is what you intended. No, if he performs the washing of the face before the rinsing of the mouth, there is no harm, because they are one limb. However, the best is to observe the order.
Also, it has been established that wudu' is worshipping Allah in a specific and known manner. It is known that whoever worships Allah in a manner other than the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), his worship is rejected. What is the answer?
The answer, may Allah reward you, is that the rinsing of the mouth and the sniffing of water are part of the face, so they are one limb. Just as the two ears are part of the head, so they are one limb. We know that if a person performs the washing of his left face first, there is no harm, even though the washing of the face is to be done all at once. And if he is compelled to wash it with one hand, he starts with the right, the rightmost part of it. Did you understand? Good.
