What is the ruling on rinsing the mouth and sniffing water into the nose during the full ritual bath?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. A man performed the full ritual bath to remove major ritual impurity, but he did not perform the ablution and did not sniff water into his nose. Is that valid for him?

The Shaykh : He did not sniff water into his nose and did not rinse his mouth.

The questioner : And he did not rinse his mouth.

The Shaykh : Yes, his full ritual bath is not valid. Rinsing the mouth and sniffing water into the nose are obligatory in both the ablution and the full ritual bath, and they are required. As for the ablution, it is not obligatory in the full ritual bath. That means, if a person rinses his mouth, sniffs water into his nose, and immerses himself in a pool intending to remove major ritual impurity, there is no harm on him; he can pray and there is no harm, because Allah the Exalted established a specific purification for the one in major ritual impurity. What did He say?
And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves إن كنتم جنبا فاطهروا
[Al-Ma'idah 5:6]
And He did not mention the ablution. This indicates that the obligation of the one in major ritual impurity is to purify himself, even if he does not arrange the actions in order and even if he does not perform the ablution. Yes.

The questioner : And sniffing water into the nose, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Rinsing the mouth and sniffing water into the nose are required; they are mandatory in both the full ritual bath and the ablution.
