Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
Imam Muslim said in the Book of Faith, in the chapter on the prohibition of striking the cheeks, tearing the garments, and calling for the pre-Islamic age of ignorance.
And it was narrated to us by Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah, who narrated to us Jarir. And it was narrated to us by Ishaq ibn Ibrahim and Ali ibn Khashram, who both said: It was narrated to us by Isa ibn Yunus, all of them from al-A'mash with this chain of narration. And they said:.
