The Book of Faith-10b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the Book of Faith, in the chapter explaining the severity of the prohibition of dragging the garment:
And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, and Waki' and Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us from al-A'mash from Abu Hazim from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Three (are the persons) with whom Allah would neither speak, nor would He absolve them on the Day of Resurrection. Abu Mu'awiya added: He would not look at them and there is grievous torment for them: the aged adulterer, the liar king and the proud destitute. ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا يزكيهم - قال أبو معاوية : ولا ينظر إليهم - ولهم عذاب أليم : شيخ زان ، وملك كذاب ، وعائل مستكبر
Sahih Muslim 107
.

The Shaykh : We ask Allah for safety. This also contains a severe warning for whoever possesses these characteristics, and it is like the warning for the one who drags his garment out of arrogance. He says:
the aged adulterer, the liar king and the proud destitute شيخ زان ، وملك كذاب ، وعائل مستكبر
Sahih Muslim 107
And there are others...
An old man who commits zina. الشيخ الزان
: This indicates that his zina was due to the corruption of his nature, because there is no strong desire that compels him to commit zina, unlike a young man. And all zina is a heinous sin, but it becomes greater when its causes are few. Therefore, if a young man is invited by a woman of status and beauty in a place where no one can see him, and he refrains, he will be among those whom Allah will shade with His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His.
The second:
A king who lies. ملك كذاب
All lying is bad, and all of it is forbidden, but its occurrence from a king is strange. Because a person may lie to ward off harm from himself or to bring benefit to himself, and a king is generally not in need of that. Why would he lie? Who is he afraid of? Speak openly and say what is in your heart and do not fear anyone. One of the common people may fear and lie, but a king has no one to hold him accountable, so who is he afraid of? Therefore, the lying of a king is greater than the lying of one who is not a king.
The third:
A poor man who is arrogant. عائل مستكبر
The arrogant poor man, the poor man who has arrogance. What do you have, poor man, to be arrogant toward people? Yes, as the common people say,
Shin ... 'Ayn. شين ... عين
meaning he is poor and has no money, and he is arrogant. This one, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify him, and he will have a painful punishment. Due to the absence of a cause for this bad trait, which indicates that the man has a corrupt soul.
The opposite of these people is undoubtedly better. The opposite of the old man who commits zina is the chaste young man, and this is better than the young man who is not chaste. Likewise, the opposite of the lying king is the truthful king, and the opposite of the arrogant poor man is the humble rich man.
