The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
He said -may Allah have mercy on him-: "From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Riyad as-Salihin 1852 Narrated by Muslim.
Al-'a'il: the poor person.
And from him (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 2839 Narrated by Muslim.
And from him, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and said:Riyad as-Salihin 1854 Narrated by Muslim.
From Abu Sulayman Khalid ibn al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:Sahih al-Bukhari 4265 Narrated by al-Bukhari".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author said -may Allah have mercy on him- at the end of his book *Riyad al-Salihin*, from the scattered hadiths:
He transmitted from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Riyad as-Salihin 1852: It was the custom of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), due to his eloquence and clarity, that he would sometimes mention things in a detailed and specific manner, to make them easier to memorize and understand. Sometimes he would say: Sahih Muslim 106b, sometimes he would say: , and sometimes he would say: Bulugh al-Maram 15:20, and there are many similar instances. Because when a thing is detailed and specified in number, it becomes more precise for a person and closer to understanding, and he does not forget it.
: This means three categories, not three individuals, but three categories of people whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection with speech of pleasure. Otherwise, He speaks (Glorified and Exalted is He) with speech of anger, even to the people of the Fire when they said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:107] He said to them: [Al-Mu'minun 23:108], but the intended meaning is speech of mercy and pleasure. So these three, Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor look at them, meaning: a look of mercy, compassion, honor, and nobility. Rather, He humiliates them (Mighty and Majestic) and does not care about them.
: Meaning: He does not grant them purity, but they are in permanent misery, refuge with Allah. The first: : Meaning an old man who commits zina. This, refuge with Allah, his zina is more severe than the zina of a young man, because the urges of desire in him are few. In a young man, desire is strong; desire may overcome what is in his fitrah of aversion to zina and hatred of it. But the old man is dead in desire; he has no desire. So if an old man commits zina, refuge with Allah, and he is advanced in age, that indicates the corruption of his nature, and that he loves zina because he committed it, not because of strong desire in him. This person, Allah will not speak to him on the Day of Resurrection, nor look at him, nor purify him.
The second:: The king is a ruler who has authority; if he says, he does. For this reason, Ibn al-Mawardi said in his famous poem:
"Stay away from the sultan and beware of his wrath *** Do not dispute with one who, if he says, does".
The sultan says and executes and does, and he has no need for lying. Most of the subjects, a person may need to lie to save himself, but the king, the sultan, has no need for lying. So if he lies, he is among those whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor look at them, nor purify them, and for them is a painful punishment, refuge with Allah. A lying king.
The third:: Al-'a'il means poor. Subhan Allah, poor and arrogant toward people?! What does he have to be arrogant about? The rich person may be arrogant because of his wealth, as He said (Mighty and Majestic): [Al-'Alaq 96:6], but the poor person has no reason to be arrogant toward people. So if he is arrogant, that indicates his wickedness and the wickedness of his nature, and that he is a man created with arrogance, refuge with Allah. So Allah will not speak to him, nor look at him, and for him is a painful punishment.

These are: An old man who commits fornication; a king who is a great liar and a poor man who is proud.
ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا يزكيهم، ولا ينظر إليهم، ولهم عذاب أليم : شيخ زان، وملك كذاب، وعائل مستكبرAl-'a'il: the poor person.
And from him (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
