If one sits from the first or third [rak'ah], does he repeat the takbir?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. What is the difference between this hadith and the fact that he says takbir when he sits for the first or third [rak'ah]?

The Shaykh : No, if he sat in the first [rak'ah], the takbir is for standing up.

The questioner : But he sat?

The Shaykh : He made a mistake.

The questioner : But he intended to sit?

The Shaykh : He made a mistake; it was not in its proper place. It is also for rising from prostration to stand up. He sat, so it became clear that this sitting was not in its proper place. Therefore, the takbir is for rising from prostration.
