The reciter: And Hasan ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, and 'Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anyone says a rak'ah of the 'Asr prayer before sunset, he has observed (the 'Asr prayer), and if anyone performs a rak'ah of the Fajr prayer, he has observed (the Fajr prayer). من أدرك من العصر ركعة قبل أن تغرب الشمس فقد أدرك ومن أدرك من الفجر ركعة قبل أن تطلع الشمس فقد أدرك
