How did A'ishah see the shadow while she was in her chamber?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : No, there is no courtyard! It is all simple, meaning the chamber was not spacious enough for more than three graves.

The questioner : Upon it...

The Shaykh : No, there is nothing upon it.

The questioner : It is not possible for the sun to enter through the window or the door.

The Shaykh : The door appears to have some distance, and it may be so, because the Maghrib prayer is to the right of one facing the qiblah in the Prophet's Mosque, and the chamber, as you know, is to the left of one facing the qiblah. So the important point is that even if it were so, if it is roofed, the sun cannot enter except with a gap or with the door as well. But with the door, there is a problem, which is that the door does not have a shadow. If the door is open, it does not have a shadow. Yes, he says there is a car, but al-Nawawi did not speak about it.
The reader: Al-Nawawi said: "And in a narration, 'The sun was falling in my chamber,' meaning that all the takbir was in 'Asr at the beginning of its time, which is when the shadow of every object becomes equal to it. And the chamber was narrow in its courtyard and short in its wall, such that the length of its wall was less than the area of the courtyard by a small amount. So when the shadow of the wall became equal to it, the time of 'Asr entered, and the sun would still be in the last part of the courtyard, and the shadow did not fall on the eastern wall. And all the narrations are based on what we have mentioned, and success is from Allah."

The Shaykh : Did he not mention anything?
The reader: Just that.

The Shaykh : What appears is this, or that the western wall is short, so that everything between it and the ceiling is open.
