The reciter: 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ma'adh al-'Anbari narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Abu Ayyub, whose name is Yahya ibn Malik al-Azdi, and it is said al-Muraghi, and al-Muragh is a tribe of the Azd, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
The time of the noon prayer (lasts) as long as it is not afternoon, and the time of the afternoon prayer (lasts) as long as the sun does not turn pale and the time of the evening prayer (lasts) as long as the spreading appearance of the redness above the horizon after sunset does not sink down, and the, time of the night prayer (lasts) by midnight and the time of the morning prayer (lasts) as long as the sun dots not rise. وقت الظهر ما لم يحضر العصر، ووقت العصر ما لم تصفر الشمس ووقت المغرب ما لم يسقط ثور الشفق، ووقت العشاء إلى نصف الليل ووقت الفجر ما لم تطلع الشمس
