The reciter: And Hārūn ibn Sa‘īd al-A‘lī, ‘Amr ibn Yakhlu, and Aḥmad ibn ‘Īsā narrated to me. ‘Amr said, “He informed us,” and the other two said, “He narrated to us.” Ibn Wahb said, “‘Amr informed me that Bakīr narrated to him from Busr ibn Abī Sa‘īd and Salām al-Aghar from Abū Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When it is a hot day, (delay) the prayer till the extreme heat passes away, for the intensity of heat is from the exhalation of Hell. إذا كان اليوم الحار فأبردوا بالصلاة فإن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم
Sahih Muslim 615c
. ‘Amr said, “And Abū Yūnus narrated to me from Abū Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
wait until it gets cooler before you do the prayer, for scorching heat is from the blast of Jahannam. أبردوا عن الصلاة فإن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم

‘Amr said, “And Ibn Shihāb narrated to me from Ibn al-Musayyib and Abū Salmah from Abū Hurayrah from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to the same effect.”
