The reciter: And Harun ibn Sa'id al-A'ili narrated to me, and the wording is his, saying: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn al-Harith informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who missed his afternoon prayer it is as though he was deprived of his family and property. من فاتته العصر فكأنما وتر أهله وماله
