The reciter: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, and Abu al-Ahwas Salam ibn Sulaym narrated to us from Abu Ishaq from Sa'id ibn Wahb from Khubayb, who said: Sahih Muslim 619a.
The Shaykh : That is, our complaint did not cease. Al-Ramda' is the hot ground, whether it is sandy or gravelly. This hadith is understood to mean that the heat had not reached its peak intensity, and it is possible for the ground to be hot even if the heat has not reached its peak. However, if the heat reaches its peak intensity, then one should cool down. This is one of the answers to the hadith regarding its apparent contradiction with the command to cool down. The second answer is to say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not initially find it difficult, but then he saw that the benefit lay in cooling down, so he allowed them to cool down.
We complained to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (the difficulty of) saying prayer on the intensely heated (ground or sand), but he paid no heed to our complaint.
