The reciter: Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Layth narrated to us. He said: And Muhammad ibn Rumh narrated to us, saying: Al-Layth informed us from Ibn Shihab from Anas ibn Malik, who informed him:
Anas b. Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray the afternoon prayer when the sun was high and bright, then one would go off to al-'Awali and get there while the sun was still high. أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يصلي العصر والشمس مرتفعة حية فيذهب الذاهب إلى العوالي فيأتي العوالي والشمس مرتفعة
