The reciter: Khalaf ibn Hisham, Abu al-Rabi' al-Zuhri, and Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Hammad, and he is Ibn Zayd, narrated to us. And Zuhayr ibn Harb and Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim narrated to me, both saying: Isma'il narrated to us, both of them from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Anas:
Anas said that God’s Messenger prayed four rak'as at the noon prayer in Medina and two rak'as at the afternoon prayer in Dhul Hulaifa. (Bukhari and Muslim.) أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم صلى الظهر بالمدينة أربعا وصلى العصر بذي الحليفة ركعتين
