The reciter: 'Abdullah ibn Muslimah al-Qa'nabi narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us from his father from Hafs ibn 'Asim from 'Abdullah ibn Malik ibn Buhaynah
That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was praying while the iqamah for the Fajr prayer had been called, so he spoke to him about something we do not know what it was. When we had finished, we gathered around and asked: "What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say to you?" He said: "He said to me: It is almost the case that one of you will pray the Fajr prayer four times."
Al-Qa'nabi said: 'Abdullah ibn Malik ibn Buhaynah [narrated] from his father. Abu al-Husayn Muslim said: And his saying "from his father" in this hadith is an error.
