The reciter: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to me, saying: Abd al-Wahhab, meaning al-Thaqafi, narrated to us, saying: Ubayd Allah narrated to us from Wahb ibn Kaysan from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, who said:
I set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a military expedition, but my camel lagged behind and became exhausted. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived before me, and I arrived in the morning. I went to the mosque and found him at the door of the mosque. He said: "Did you just arrive?" I said خرجت مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم في غزاة فأبطأ بي جملي وأعيى ثم قدم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم قَبْلي وقدمت بالغداة فجئت المسجد فوجدته على باب المسجد قال: ءالأن حين قدمت؟ قلت
