The Shaykh : Because Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) became famous for narrating from him, and for this reason she is among the Companions who narrated the most.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : It is not with them, and it is not necessary that because a person has knowledge of the actions of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and the life of the Messenger, he should narrate a lot from him. We know that the people who took the most from the Messenger of Allah, who were they?
The student: Abu Bakr.

The Shaykh : Abu Bakr accompanied him in residence and travel, in his expeditions and in all his circumstances, and yet the transmission from him is little because he did not devote himself to narrating to people. As for Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she devoted herself and narrated to people, and people were connected to her, so the narration from her became abundant. Yes.
