Some of the common people throw the jamarat, but they do not establish the remembrance of Allah; rather, they throw them with curses and abuse at the jamarat, believing that they are Shaytan?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. Some of the common people throw the jamarat, but they do not establish the remembrance of Allah. May Allah reward you. Rather, they throw them with curses and abuse at the jamarat. He says to Shaytan—he believes that these jamarat are Shaytan—so he curses and abuses them until he finishes with the jamarat?

The Shaykh : This is from ignorance.

The questioner : Is this throwing valid?

The Shaykh : The throwing is valid because the throwing of the jamarat took place, but this belief is invalid. Otherwise, we have heard people throwing and cursing, saying: "You are the one who separated me from my wife," and similar foolish talk. I saw with my own eyes, before the heavy crowd, this—years ago—a man and his wife in the middle of the basin, the basin of the Jamrat al-Aqabah, and people were throwing, throwing at the basin and throwing at the man and the woman, but he was patient. It was as if he was saying: "Are you not but a finger that bled *** And in the path of what you encountered"
They were throwing at him while he remained silent. Glory be to Allah!
The student: ...

The Shaykh : No, no, that is enough. Is it over? The time is over. Good. And we also spoke about the noble verse, but Hajj, like other acts of worship, has conditions.
