Is Hajj a type of jihad, and who interpreted it as being general for men and women?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is Hajj one of the two types of jihad, which is interpreted as being general for women and men?

The Shaykh : It is undoubtedly a type of jihad. For this reason, Allah the Exalted said:
And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good. وأنفقوا في سبيل الله ولا تلقوا بأيديكم إلى التهلكة وأحسنوا إن الله يحب المحسنين
[Al-Baqarah 2:195]
Then He said:
And complete the Hajj and 'umrah for Allah وأتموا الحج والعمرة لله
[Al-Baqarah 2:196]
Some scholars held that it is permissible to give zakah to a poor person who has not performed Hajj, stating that this is part of jihad in the cause of Allah. Three?
The reader: Which one, the in-kind, Shaykh?

The Shaykh : The in-kind, yes.
