The Shaykh : Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) had declared his intention for the same type of pilgrimage that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had declared, so he remained in his state of ihram performing Qiran. As for Abu Musa, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) ordered him to change his state of ihram from Hajj to Umrah because he had not brought sacrificial animals.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to remain in his state of ihram.
