I live with a family of thirty people, none of whom pray except on Friday. Is there a word to be said about this?

The questioner : I live with a family of thirty people, including men, women, and children, none of whom pray except on Friday. What do you advise them to do? May Allah reward you.
The Shaykh : I advise them to fear Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and to know that Allah has made obligatory upon them five prayers every day and night. Allah the Exalted made them obligatory upon His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) on the night of the Mi'raj, while he was above the heavens. So he (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) accepted them and conveyed them to his Ummah.
And I warn them against being negligent with any of them, for Allah the Exalted said in His Book:[Maryam 19:59-60] I advise them that when they perform the prayer, they should perform it with tranquility and not peck at it like a crow. A man once entered the mosque, prayed, then came and greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He said to him: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2692Sahih (Darussalam) because the man was not tranquil in his prayer. The man returned and prayed as he had prayed before, then went back and greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He said to him: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2692Sahih (Darussalam) until the man said: By Him who sent you with the truth, I do not know how to do it other than this. Teach me. So he taught him and said to him: Bulugh al-Maram 2:139.
And I say to them: Islam is not divided. So if they are praying Friday prayer but not the others, do they not acknowledge the obligation of the others?
If that is the case, they are disbelievers, for denying the obligation of the five prayers is disbelief in Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And if they say: The others are obligatory, but they are negligent with them:
Then they are in great danger, as indicated by the texts from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
The questioner : May Allah bless you.

(59) But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil - (60) Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all.

ارجع فصل فإنك لم تصلWhen you get up to pray, perform ablution perfectly, then face the Qiblah and say: 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Most Great). Then recite a convenient portion of the Qur'an; then bow and remain calmly in that position for a moment, then rise up and stand erect; then prostrate and remain calmly in that position for a moment, then rise up and sit calmly, then prostrate and remain calmly in that position for a moment; then do that throughout your prayer.
And I say to them: Islam is not divided.
