The reciter: Chapter: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs for his seven circuits, and Nafi' said: "Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to pray two rak'ahs for every seven circuits", and Isma'il ibn Umayyah said: "I said to al-Zuhri, 'Ata says that the obligatory prayer suffices for the two rak'ahs of tawaf.' He said, 'The Sunnah is better. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never completed seven circuits without praying two rak'ahs'".
