Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on what a person serves to another when a guest arrives, if he knew that the food was of this nature he would not eat it, but it is not harmful to him?

The Shaykh : A man had a guest and served him a drink or food, knowing that if the guest knew what had happened to this food or drink, he would not eat or drink it. Is it permissible for him to serve it without informing him, given that it will not harm him? It appears that he is not obligated to do so, as long as it does not harm him, and this does not include anything forbidden. This is unlike the case where he gives him something that differs in its permissibility; in that case, he must inform him. Yes.
