The reciter: Abdullah ibn Abi al-Aswad narrated to us, Mu'adh narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Yunus, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) never took his meals at a dining table, nor in small plates, and he never ate thin wellbaked bread. ما أكل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على خوان ولا في سُكْرُجَة ولا خبز له مرقق
Sahih al-Bukhari 5415
I asked Qatadah, "What did they eat on?" He said, "On a travel mat."
