The reciter: Musa ibn Isma'il narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muslim narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Dinar narrated to us, saying: I heard Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying:
Whoever keeps a (pet) dog which is neither a watch dog nor a hunting dog, will get a daily deduction of two Qirat from his good deeds. من اقتنى كلباً ليس بكلب ماشية أو ضارية نقص كل يوم من عمله قيراطان
